WHAT IS RAINWATER HARVESTING?

Rainwater Harvesting (or Recycling) is the collection of rainwater that would otherwise have gone down the drain, into the ground or been lost through evaporation.

This water which is naturally soft is collected from the roof or driveway surface of the property and passed through a 1st stage filter to a suitable storage tank.

A Britannia rainwater recycling system will then allow the collected water to be used on a variety of applications such as vehicle wash-down points, landscape irrigation, W.C. & urinal flushing, washing machines, and even certain industrial process uses.

Any excess rainwater is safely discharged from the storage tank into the existing soakaway / drainage pipework.
